There is a manufacturer's label on the back that reads Made in France for Paillard S A Yverdon Switzerland ~ Distributed in USA by Paillard Inc New Jersey. By the handle, with Ronald Mayer's name and a New Jersey address. There is also an Eastern Airlines sticker located on the outside of the cover. The typewriter has a sticker on the inside cover which reads'Remove only by the authority of Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation(FDIC) and signed by Ronald Mayer. Occassionally the left side appears to go somewhat off track but it will open and close with a little wiggle.

The cover the encloses the keys and ribbon glides on a track back and forth to open.
